Tri-County
Airport Vision 2028
In April 2028
your airport Board of
Directors created a steering committee
to make recommendations regarding plans and
methods for long-term sustainable growth
(especially in the areas of airport
infrastructure) to be called "Vision 2028".
Five Board members volunteered to meet the
first Tuesday of every month at 9 am in the
airport conference room; meetings are
ongoing- we are a "Work in Progress" and
you're welcome to be a part.
The
committee has been tasked to 1) identify
needed infrastructure items, 2) identify
resources to help us with planning, grants
and funding, 3) identify ideal growth areas
on airport property and their potential use.
By airport infrastructure, we are
referring to:
- Water (stormwater/drainage as well as
fresh-water supply) - Sewer
or Septic -
Power/Electricity (including emergency
power) - Improvements or
creating of new taxiways -
The paving of Tri-County Airport Road
- High speed internet for our tenants
Our
past meeting minutes are below.
Public
comment and ideas are being sought.
This includes current tenants of the
airport, pilots, aircraft owners and the
citizens and leadership of Holmes, Jackson
and Washington Counties. All meetings
are open to the public and you may voice
your opinion (as per the provisions of
Florida public law). Please note- any
